Over the span of my working life, I've moved through everyday community spaces, service businesses, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, senior living communities, executive offices, boardrooms, networking organizations, vendor environments, professional gatherings, community events, fundraising settings, luxury properties, startups, and established businesses.
I've worked with, for, and around people at very different levels of income, influence, responsibility, experience, and visibility.
That range taught me not to be intimidated by titles, status, surroundings, or the perceived importance of a room.
The question that matters to me is much simpler: who is here, what matters to them, what do they need, and where might a meaningful connection or opportunity exist?
